Boston Indoor Series 2008 - 2009

The Boston Indoor Series will again be held at Peter Paine Sports Center in Boston over the winter of 2008/9. This is a provisional announcement and notification to all those interested in participating.

Rounds and Dates

The following is the Schedule for the series.

• Sunday 2nd November 2008 - PAA x 2
• Sunday 7th December 2008 - 18m FITA x 2
• Sunday 4th January 2009 - Portsmouth x 2
• Sunday 1st February 2009 - Vegas Round
• Sunday 1st March 2009 - Worcester x 2

Entries

Due to the large number of entries for the 2007/8 series we have decided to use the following for entries to the 2008/9 series:

Thursday 18th September 2008 - Entries will be open to all members of Friskney Bowmen at the Club Night.

Sunday 21st September 2008 - Entry forms will be available to all those competing in the Dennis Ingham Memorial Shoot.

Tuesday 23rd September 2008 - Entry forms will be published on the club website and AIUK.

All entries will be on a strict 'first paid' basis. There will be no pre-bookings allowed.

Rule Changes

The following amendments have been made to the rules for 2008/9. Note that other rule changes maybe implemented before the start of the series.

Husband and Wife and Team trophies will now be decided in the same way as the individual series trophy. That is on accumulated scores for all sessions of all rounds (Double scoring rather than x2)

An additional Longbow Team trophy will be available for 2008/9
